Monster 696/796/1100/ MPH 796 wins?

You know what, other than comparing d*ck sizes, how many of you here has had the monster up to 120 MPH? In theory it can do 125 MPH, I wanna know who has or consistently does that speed on the Monster?

I did 115mph on the 796 twice.  Couldn't take the wind for more than a minute both times.  I don't think those speeds are reasonable on a monster, so for me, top speed comparison of the monsters is pointless.

Torque on the other hand, the difference between the 796 and the 1100 is definitely big, but 796 was way more than I could use in the city and twisties at my skill level, so I took the 796.

You can't hit the rev limiter in 6th on any of those bikes.  The 1100 will have a higher top speed.

I've had the M1100 up to an indicated 120 MPH going uphill on a test ride.  I don't know where it would have topped out, but it felt like there was plenty more.  I also rode the 796 Hyper that day.  I didn't really have a chance to open it up with the 796, but it I seriously doubt any 796 has the same top speed or quarter mile as any 1100 Ducati.  You can't really compare tests given on different days.

we did on an annual Ducati trip when we saw the sign "28 miles to Leaky" and off everyone went.  I saw 132 on my speedo and hated the buffeting so back to settle in at 100 mph.  I hated it but we got there fast.

I've done 130+ MPH. I do 120MPH all the time.

For everyones information:

Just today I hit 130 and still had about 1000K left on the rev limiter.

My redline is raised to the DP ECU spec though.. 9500. I only slowed down because I ran out of road.

Granted I dropped about 20 pounds off my bike and weigh 150lbs but still...
