Why not? Did they say why?

I have a side mount on my 696 an do not see why it would not work on 1100... Frames are the same right??

Yes, I have the same mind as you. But I just send an email to them and confirm. But they told me that. Make me confuse now...

The only thing I could think of would be fork diameter differences between 696 and 1100(if there is any), but replacement fork clamps for that dampener are easy to come by... I got a new one on eBay for $20 when I replaced my forks

I called them.

They just haven't confirmed it on an 1100. he thinks it might be an issue, but until they confirm one way or another they cannot say it fits.

And I spoke to Dan and he said they did try an 1100 and it is the frame mount and that something is different in the frames.

If someone brought an 1100 in, they could very likely rework the frame clamp pretty quickly.

I hope someone takes their 1100 in to Dan soon.  If I was closer, I would.  I have Jess Racing risers on my M1100 so the top mount damper won't work for me.

You have to make one. It's simpler with a clip on setup than the stock, though. If I remember correctly you're in HK right? You should be able to find some decent machinists to help you do this over there.
