Hey guys,

Just got my order from PJ's parts. Rizoma engine guards, fork and rear sliders.

The fork slider were perfect. The engine guard had a scuff on it so i'm sending it back for a new one.

The only real problem I had was that the rear slider had the old logo on it and the engine guard and front slider had the new (better) logo on them. I called PJ and he said that he didn't have the rear slider with the new logo, so I can send the slider back, but since I opened it he would keep 5 bucks from the purchase.

Maybe it's me, but that doesn't seem right. He sent me a slider that looked different from the other parts. Its only 5 bucks, ut it more about the principle. I'm looking to drop a lot of money on mods and I want a place that is reliable. He seemed nice and didn't give me a hard time with the engine guard.

Do you guys think I'm being picky or reasonable?

Rotate the axle sliders so the logo faces the ground, then no one will see them.

after the first time you drop the bike, you probably won't notice the logos

or..

Well I'm an optimist, So I plan on having these guards for a awhile. If I'm dropping $450 on guards they should match. I like the black marker idea, but i'll save that for when i mess something up. I won't use it to fix someone else's mistake.

That is a bit picky, but Rizoma exists and is priced for picky people.

I think the logos not matching is a little too picky, and trust me, I am about as picky as someone can be.  Would it bother me?  Sure, a little, but I wouldn't expect the vendor to take them back after being opened.

Unfortunately, vendors have no control over when the manufacturer decides to change logos.  It is entirely possible that Rizoma hasn't even made rear sliders with the new logo yet.  I think it was nice of him to even offer to take the opened part back at all.

i'd personally let it go but i dont blame you for being annoyed. you spend good money for quality premium parts, and you have to deal with bs annoyances like this.

I guess I have to let it go. I called around and no one has the old sliders much less ones with the new logo. I guess I'll hold on to them and ge the new ones next year.
