Anyone have a check engine light code reader for a monster s2r? Filled up with gas yesterday while out in poolesville and the light came on briefly. Didn't seem to be any problem and light went out after a couple of minutes so I kept riding. No apparent problem, but would be nice to know what it was saying.

Thanks,

I'll split the cost of one with ya. If you're keeping the S2R, that is.

Think I found a Ducati equivalent to TuneECU (Aprilia/Triumph/KTM) software...

Anyone use this? I've already got the vag-com cable and the required adapter for the duc is $6.79 on ebay. What the hell...might as well go ahead and order it for 7 bucks...the software installed without any problems so it can't be that bad; can it? ;D

Of particular interest to Tocino and maybe PePe at some point in the future...

This software also works on Guzzis and Morinis...and Aprilias (but TuneECU has been around significantly longer and works well). Unlike TuneECU, this software won't flash your ECU with a new map...but there's another program that will. I've requested a download and downloaded the S2R DP full map just in case I get a bit crazy over the winter.

Software? ECU? Whazzat? The closest my Guzzi comes to that type of technology is a voltage regulator, and it's not even solid state. Probably runs on vacuum tubes and springs.  :o
