Anyone know where in the LA area I should go to seach for an o-ring?

I have a DP steering damper and the swivel clamp that hold the damper body has an o-ring that functions to firm up the swivel.  My o-ring went bad, and now the damper body flops around a bit when the front end is turned from side to side.

Went to NAPA auto parts and found a close match, but close wasn't close enough.

Who's got a great selecton of o-rings I can search through?

Thanks,
Norris

If you want to try online, go to McMaster-Carr.com.  Carefully measure your o-ring and you should be able to order a match from them.

I scored a bunch of fasteners, o- rings and what-not with matching fastener drawers  (Griots Garage stuff) from a friend who no longer wanted/needed them...

Lemme know what size and i'll see if I have it

Thanks lawbreaker.

I'll need something like calipers to measure the darn thing.

I think I found what I need at Home Depot.  I'll try it out tonight.

Yeah, the Home Depot o-ring worked fine.

Lawbreaker, thanks for the offer.  If you don't mind, I'll keep you in mind if something comes up in the future.

Harbor Freight sells o-ring kits which are great to have around, inch and metric versions.

Very useful to have around

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
