Getting rid of Birds

This past week I had a huge amount of birds (they're little and look liek sparrows) drinking my dogs water outside and crapping all over the place. I got a bird feeder and a small water container an dplaced it outside, close to where I think they're nesting, but no dice.
They mocked me and my dog!
Last night I got a (fake) owl and I'm hoping that will keep them away.
Any ideas if that doesn't work?
Is it legal to take them out Capone style in LA?

They are probably migratory birds and if you hurt them you will go to a Federal Pound Me In the Ass prison.

Looks like the singing alone will keep me from prison.

I'm really allergic to cats. In an ironic twist of fate, my house was originally occupied by a woman who fed all of the local feral cats. It's why I got my dog in the first place.

Looks like the owl is not working. I'm thinking bb gun. Those kids have been practicing on the wii long enough. Time for the real thing.

buy a pellet gun from sports authority.  that's what I did and have had fun hunting during morning coffee.   [thumbsup]
