It's unbelievable how much better the rizoma bars and risers are. Add the Sargent seat and you have a bike that you can ride all day.

I was concerned about the cables also. There are two sizes of rizoma risers, a 42mm and a 60mm. I got the 42 part number AZ402B with the Risoma conical bars and had NO issues with the cables at all.

Take your time installing the bars.  Many guys cut the nubs off of the throttle, starter switch and choke. I didn't. I drilled holes in the bars. One piece of advice. MEASURE TWICE, DRILL ONCE.

This is a great mod. You'll be glad you dd it.

Just ordered the bar and risers and should have them by the weekend.  Will install them next week.  Also looking at the Sargent low height seat.....mebbe get it with heat, as I like to ride as long as I can till the snow falls!   Smiley

Well why would you have any issues with the cables? The risers you put on actually made the bar lower than stock. I think the stock 696 risers measured 57 mm.
