Should I use Loctite on my handlebar bolts when installing new handlebars?

Installing new handlebars and taking off the old ones was a pregnant dog but it makes sense as I would think you dont want these things to budge. Just wondering if I should put a couple drops of loctite on the bolts when I install new ones.

oops.. too late! I did use Blue Loctite. Is there any downside here? Should I remove and clean the bolts or can I leave them?

Loc tite will be fine. Re-mark them so you'll know if there's movement for peace of mind.

The grease is to prevent galvanic corrosion.  The Loctite will do the same.  Just [Dolph]
