HC piston install

So i pulled the bike off the road to do some routine maintenance and i figured while i was in there i could throw in some HC pistons. I have a 2002 S4. I was looking for a little more power. Has anyone done this job? Is it worth it? Any suggestions would be great.

I haven't done it on a Duc, but on my motocross bike, it builds up the bottom end. With anything mods wise, you run into a fine balancing of reliability versus performance, is it worth it, if you are racing, yes, are you going to just ride the bike on the street, then just put in a fresh new piston and rings. Just my take.
