just thought I'd throw this one out here:

does anyone know how similar the subframe/rear geometry is between the old multistrada and the hypermotard?

reason is I was looking at caribou panniers and they have a rack for the old multi... got me wondering how much modding would be involved to make it work on a hyper, vs. custom fabbing a rack

:edit: Hepco-Becker also makes racks for the old multi...  unsure of starting a $400 experiment...

Not sure the differences, but I'd much rather start with any existing rack than start from scratch....

yeah, that's really what I'd rather do, too... hopefully they're close...

damn shame the only case for the hyper is for the top
