I want to put a cell phone jammer with a directional antenna on the bike to knock out all cell phones a mile in front of me.

Not sure that that would help you out. Just imagine what would happen if every asshole on the cell phone suddenly drops their call. Now instead of them not paying attention to the road, they are not paying attention to the road AND trying to re dial the person they just lost...

Hopefully I can knock them out far enough ahead that they will realize the phone is dead and put it down and start driving before I catch up to them.

In California it's even legal to pass on the right. [roll]
What especially annoys me is people who feel that they have to be in the carpool lane because they qualify, even when traffic in the other lanes is going  significantly faster than them.

In Germany, the drivers know how to drive, and stay right / pass left, is strictly followed.  No enforcement needed. [thumbsup]

Love the idea of school as a punishment for the left lane bandits.  Some are just rude.  For many of these folk loss of a day's work and possible humiliation at the workplace is a better punishment than a mail in fine.  For the others, maybe education will enlighten them.  The second ticket should be loss of license.

As far as I am concerned, clogging the left lane is a huge safety issue since this practice is a major cause of road rage.

Right is the new left !

I notice this trend myself.

I have weapon for left lane squatters and I am unapologetic and unrepentant in its usage.

My retro fit of a Ducati Designs headlight on my ST has given me a high beam that will sear retinas from 100 yards. I just sorta position myself to where the beam hits them in the mirrors. This trick is quite effective and more often than not they do move.

Before you get the idea that im one of those high beam flicking assholes, please note that I run high beams 100% of the time during daylight hours. I do turn them off at sundown. I'm a dick, not an ashole.

i get better 'getoutoftheway-age' with my hi-beam on... its on all the time in the daylight hours.

in europe i have noticed also it is very common for bikes to have a turn-signal flashing constantly during rush-hour commutes... some have (i want one) both signals going, like emergency flashers... anyone know how to make that happen?)

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the War Room.

There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man.  The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self. And in bacon.

My father has an aircraft mechanic friend who fitted 2 landing gear lights from a Boeing 737 on top of his F150.  :o

Last year a guy, in the left hand lane, was yacking on his cell phone going 60 in the 65 mph zone.
A cop followed him for 3 miles, then turned on his lights, it took the guy 1/2 a mile before he tilted his head back, while still talking on his phone, to see what was going on right behind him.....  That really made my day. ;D
