Has anyone had experience with this product:

My bike cutoff while riding and it was due to a partially melted ignition fuse. The plastic part of the fuse melted over one of the contacts as well as partially damaging the fuse panel. I thought about replacing the fuse panel with an aftermarket solution but does something the like the easternbeaver fuse panel seem like overkill? I'm also open to considering other solutions if anyone know of any.

i think you could find something closer to the original.  check your wiring too.

ah, i see what it is now..

that's a much more complicated setup and people have been doing that for years on the older bikes to get more amps to the starter.

why not?  but you don't need to replace the entire fuse box, you can just cut into the starter wires and put a relay there and then one directly off the battery, but that's sort of how it's set up as is, you just have a shorter loop for the volts.

Now that I have some light I saw the problem. One side of the contact was uneven within the fuse box. I think this situation created arcs as one side of the fuse would briefly lose contact with the connection. I removed the fusebox and evened out the contacts within the fusebox. Hopefully this cured everything.

i'd just grab a used wiring harness off of ebay to use, that eager beaver setup is neat and all, but seems unnecessary.
