They probably ought to make him set aside a few million for the 13 year old girl he had sex with. You know to pay for therapy she has needed or may need because of him. $:-\$

In any case, I bet he's broke in 5 years.

He's entitled to win as much as the next guy.

Not defending his actions at all, just saying who cares. He bought a ticket. he won. Sounds like he is going to send his kids to college.

I think for a lot of people the negative reaction is a lot of something "good" happening to someone "bad". You know like the opposite of "why do bad things happen to good people."

He's free, he bought the ticket, he won, the money is his. Besides like quote a few people have said, within 5 years it'll be gone.

You know it's funny, there's never a news story on the 1000's of people who lose the lottery every day.

I bet some of them are criminals too!

The whole thing happened in 1980... he is 45 now so lets say he was 17 maybe just got 18... the Girl was 13 (maybe his Girlfriend) he was stupid -pretty much counts for every 17 year old- climbed thru her window and got caught by her Dad- Police got called and here goes his future- this could be a possible way it went down,not saying it is.... he spend his time in Prison got out and won the Lottery.. Good for him and his Kids and Wife .Lets just hope he will make the best of it.

btw...I am on this and TOB for about 4 years now... just never posted anything... maybe i was to busy reading all the time....??!!

The article stated he had sex with the 13yr old in 1999.

In the 1980's, he had a few breaking and entering charges

Oh ,I must have missed that... he is or was not just stupid...a criminal indeed and sick .... served his time and the other hand. I believe there is a special treatment in Jail for this kind of things.
I thought there was some Agencies that take care of those Thailand issues...i remember a while back in Germany.. they showed on TV some undercover Agents with Video following those ppl .... video taping the evidence (as far as they could) and then they got charged back in Germany with it. Don't know how this here in the US works.
