Bike - haven't touched it yet. Handle bar seems ok. It's actually lot better than my other bike which after lowside last year is not aligned right. Need to replace that first than the monster.
Have started looking for parts in here. Exhaust can cover - called Remus to c if they have it (just the carbon cover) and am waiting for call back and price. All in all, still looking for part...
Yep conversion didn't work :-(

That's quite a bummer. It's the worst when you know it's dropped, then trying to gather the bike up and get it home. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
But now you understand the importance of proper trailering equipment. Wheel chock, Canyon Dancers, soft ties and Ancra straps are all minimum equipment for trailering a bike.
Good luck with your bike's recovery and let's hope next spring will see it on the road again.

I owe a PIF and I have a set of 620 forks if you need em
Let me or Mother (he's a little slow on going to the post office) know about whether you need the forks and we'll send 'em out.

Thank you. My initial untrained eyes tell me that the forks looks good. Come winter, I will let the pro's give the final verdict about the forks. I will definitely let you two know and thank you for the offer. I do appreciate that.
What is a PIF?
Thanks IZ.

That really sux hard. About your exhaust can the guy at Blackdragonexhaust.net might be able to help if all else fails it's worth a try. I almost bought a set of tubes for my cans awhile back so I know he dose that kinda stuff. Good luck.
By the way I have nothing to do with Black Dragon just trying to be helpful.
I've been emailing back and forth with blackdragonexhaust.net. I am hoping i can get the pipe sleeves from them. But I have not gotten a phone number from the emailer yet. Simply said send specs and takes about 3-4 weeks. This was a great suggestion. I think this is the solution for me for cheap without having to replace my pipe. Can't find any other alternative.
Has anyone here dealt with this company ? or any other alternatives?

Update
Finally took out the pipe and looks like i got more damage and not just the pipe CF Sleeve.
Still getting some used parts from the forum. So far i have got ( brake lever, frame slider puck, tank latch, headlight assembly). Need to get rear-set welded too.
Talking to black exhaust url mentioned in the forum to hopefully fix the pipe. I may have to send it there and keep my fingers crossed.

How much do they want to fix the slip on vs buying a good condition used set? $250-$400 seems to be the range for cf low pipes in my experience....

Don't know yet. Will update when I find out. The pipe is not a total waste. If the inner stuff is fine and hopefully few torch and bang type of fix, it should be brought back to life (i hope) and get a new sleeve for it. If it is way to expensive, then I am screwed
God forbid I may have to go back to stock ( which i got rid of when the bike was a mere 100miles )

Yes, that is what happens in such incidents.

Looks like several hours worth of work to fix. Why not put that $$ towards newer unscathed slip ons?
