Can you remove the tire without taking the exhaust off?

Needs a couple inches removed just before the muffler.
The muffler looks weird covering the tire and wheel. Removing a couple inches of pipe would fix that...JMO

That is what I was thinking also. Thanks. Here are a few more ideas that I have in mind. ![](http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/4158/36914full.jpg) ![](http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1621/36917full.jpg) ![](http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/9885/36919full.jpg) ![](http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/2333/lg482703530.jpg)

The turned out look on your other idea is interesting. Wonder if you'd get a hot foot in stop and go traffic? .

Is that the HotBodies exhaust? I have it on my trackbike. Must sound nasty on yours ![Evil](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/evil.gif) I think both look great, but I'm leaning towards the higher previous position. Actually I think it's the shiny band clamp that I don't like. How much clearance do you get with the heel of your foot when riding? I'm thinking if I was riding it, I would probably be resting/hitting my heel on it.

Final version. ![](http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/3746/20111020113425.jpg) I really like the looks of that... well done ![waytogo](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/waytogo.gif) ....flows very well with the seat. What are the particulars on this system? It's something I would be interested in doing with my 696. I just wonder anout clearance on the dual sided swingarm of the 696... I also wonder about the heat centeralized near the footpeg.

Nice ![waytogo](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/waytogo.gif) Now all you need is a red spring on that rear shock & you're good to go....it really stands out now that you've opened up the rear end.

Everything is stock. I have a spare if anyone is interested. Not the best weld job but it gets covered by the clamp anyways. Weights roughly 3lbs vs the almost 15lbs boat anchor stock exhaust. Better video Stock ![](http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/8575/dsc00533i.jpg)
