Engine cuts when I put the bike in gear...

I had a mechanic remove the mechanism that cuts the engine when you try to put the bike in gear with the kickstand down a couple months ago because it was damaged in a spill.  My bike has been running great since.

Now, all of a sudden, I try to put the bike in gear and the engine cuts!  Tried with the kick stand up and down... no difference.

Any thoughts or suggestions on what might be the issue?

check ur connector sounds like the bypass fell off

Where would the bypass have been located?

The wire runs pretty deep into the body.

Do a quick search in tech or how to for kickstand bypass and there should be better info
