Dyno result??

Looks like there's a big hole in the midrange compared to the 1198.  It makes the numbers up top (shifting the power / rpm relationship) but the 1198 looks like it brings the power at lower revs unless I'm reading this wrong.

pretty certain that's at the crank.

just relooking at it... the 1198 looks pretty strong comparably all the way through 8250 rpm.

and still hangs up to 9500 rpm.

it's all at the top end where the panigale would pull away.

1000 rpm higher upper limit as well

it's gonna have to be ridden like the I-4 bikes and keep it up in the RPM range to make the power.

then again, makes it more docile at the lower RPMs for street

The lower rpm torque on the Panigale suffer a lot - anything lower than 7,000 has less than my 800 Monster  boo

I think a Termi kit and ECU is more required than ever.

According to the Akropovic site (same as the S1000RR graph) the 1198 makes 120 Nm torque:


I guess that means we can't compare the graphs.

It's hard to see, but I think the BMW numbers are Nm and the Panigale is footpounds.
