Call me crazy but after looking at that graph I actually like the 1198 numbers more than the 1199.

You're not crazy, I was thinking the same thing.  Makes a 1*98 that much more desirable (to me) in a few years.  I've never been a fan of tippity top end revs anyway.

You can probably find a 1098s with low miles for a decent price. In a few months you'll be able to find them for a song.  waytogo

....and you can modify it to be like a 1199 by performing a de-frame-ectomy.    Tongue

All kidding aside, the 1198s does it for me. Much lower in price and has traction control to tame the beast for a newb like me.  Grin

I was just reviewing this video

Ducati 1199 Panigale - Troy Bayliss and Marinelli @ Mugello

I think the 1199 map we are seeing below is the Race mode which makes the power high according to the video.

I think the 1199 Sport map would look closer to the 1198.

i know that for the termi reflash, it's already built into the system.  you just have to connect a usb key to it to unlock it within the ecu... which i'm guessing will be pirated and cracked within seconds of release.  so getting the termi map prob wont be crazy difficult at least
