If you're going to fall down just make sure it's on the right side. Your open dry clutch will thank you.

Other's are not. I just find it odd to note the lack of protection of a shock when so many of us run fully exposed clutches. That is all.

I noted the exposed shock, AND run a clutch cover that would most likely head on collision with a Soyuz rocket.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.
Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

rumor is that Ducati corporate will not be at the international motorcycle show. Is that so? I was told they'd try to get a Pannigale stateside to show and now this rumor surfaced?

Who are we trying to kid? If any of us fall down then it's a sad day. Doesn't matter which side. Fall down on a Panigale and it'll be a really sad day. And not that I'm calling the evil forces but someday, on some forum, there is going to be that post "I went down on my new 1199".

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori. Good people drink good beer. Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.
It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level. Everything else is just fluff.

"Fuel tank capacity 17l (4.5 gallon US)"
I wonder how they did that....

Check out my oil filter forensics thread! Offended? But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Has anyone compared the Desmosedici power and weigh figures to the Panigale 1199?
Seems to me the Desmosedici is 10 lbs heavier, makes just nominally more power. So what do you think would be the trade-in or resale value for those bikes now that the Panigale has been announced for 1/3 of its original price?

I don't think the D16's value has ever been rooted in pure performance.
