7.5K But might be moot.

Ok price I suppose.

I think the 530 would be faster and more nimble anyhow Wink

And an SMC that's been stupidly over falked

"ou will not find a more custom supermoto bike. Everything that was painted silver was anodized black, brown, or orange. Other parts powdercoated and polished, including the rear susp linkage. KTM detachable tail bag. CRC adjustable levers. FMF Q4ti muffler. Otherwise engine is stock (plenty of power). Custom Corbin seat. Polished Fastway stainless steel pegs. This bike only has 2780 miles. Now has a brand new set of Pirelli Scorpion Sync tires (much better in the rain than stock) not shown in the photos. The stock tires shown are super sticky in the dry and come with the bike. Orange front fender and headlight mask has been replaced with black parts. KTM windscreen. I have all stock parts and it comes with black rear fender and side panels still in package if you want to make it all black. 70+ HP and 300lbs makes for an exciting ride. I have over $15,000 invested. $9800 OBO. " Invested in coating and polishing a Sumo...

the adventure is a fine bike indeed.

I vote he gets a 640 adv and then sells it to me for a greatly reduced price so he can get the 690.

Now how's that work for me?

There was an 950 super moto for sale in DC just a couple weeks back. There's a SE in canadia...

And a couple 690s.... hmmm
Winchester Motorsports (http://www.winchestermotosports.com) might have a 950 Adventure still in consignment... Wink

Not listed on their site.  And as bad ass as the 950 is, part of the original plan was to get something light to buzz about. Though the SE might go back to my plan of wanting a Multi that's not so breakable.

Hmm, I'll ponder it. But it might not hash out... I'd make up a plan B if I were you.

Thanks Pepe... the 690 is looking good.

But I did see this today
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/2825332519.html

I have for sale a KTM 2008 530cc EXC-R ""SuperMoto" With 3,738 miles
The 530 bike can also be used as a Dualsport with the off road rims, tires, hubs, sprocket, rotars ( all included ) with the sale of the bike !
Asking # 6,300 OBO.............No Trades

- Potential but the price still seem high by comparison to that other 530. Or is a "R" worth a few hundy more. I'm not sure what makes an R an R
