We said our goodbyes at the curb. A tear was shed as she sped off into the heavy fog. And just like that.... my skinny black Italian girlfriend was gone.  Weep not for me.... I have a date with a fat black Russian chick this afternoon. |

I remember when I sold my 999 and watched it drive off. Very conflicting emotions. In retrospect, I don't think I should have done it but then I'm not sorry about the journey since then either. Good luck with the new one. Ural?

I understand what you are going thru, bobspapa. It's aways a weird feeling, seeing somebody riding off with your (ex-)girl friend. When I sold my 620, it was the first time I've seen anybody other than myself riding the bike. I stood there, watching the guy rode off and listened for the QD exhaust scream until I couldn't hear it any more. It was like my M620 didn't want to leave and was calling out to me....

 When the new owner of "my" Laverda Jota set off up the road, I felt like running after him and telling him I'd changed my mind.....................Then I remembered the brand new LeMans sat in my garage, and felt a bit better. I'd have it back though, just for the exhaust note!
