Could someone color the Wheels the same red as the stripe on the tank?

Oh my drool

Though I'm not a wheel stripe kind of guy, maybe.  Or red rims.  Or red spokesFor some reason the wheels get lost.

Is that more stuff from the guy who is selling bikes for his dad?

That man really has to just sell tickets to tour that garage if it is.

The silver bike is long gone.  I am doing a bike similar to it.

The black/red bike is a converted Pantah from Belgium

ducatiz,

Something randy about that shade of red.  Wink Can't see how that bike has any bottom end with that 1/2 cone muffler either..., but you never know.

Just my $0.02 but I think it also depends on the bike, the color of the bike, and the wheel pattern. If Campy-style wheels, I prefer stock gold on a vintage bike. Generally I prefer black. Signal Red might be sharp on a white bike though.

If you get stuck, my son used to have a guy in Richmond who did superb powdercoating on vintage alloy car wheels. Looked totally OEM and held up.

This was the bike I lusted over but could never afford. A client had one and used to torture me with it when I was busy in the dealership on Saturdays. Grrr...  Wink http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:BimotaDB1.JPG

Regards!

Will, how about a DB2 instead?

$8500, no reserve, 0 bids, 3 days left... Pretty solid price for one I would say.

Hi, Vincent,

It's cute but it isn't a DB1. A DB1 is very light and tiny. Not an issue really as I haven't been able to bend that way for quite a while.  Wink The pearl white on the DB1 is great BTW.

At least the DB2 has 17" wheels. That has to be changed on the DB1 because the 16's are no longer made and weren't that fantastic when they were.

you could use the "configurators" box on the left side of this page.
it's not a Cagiva but you can flip back and forth between black and red to see which you prefer.

dude, that is NOT my garage.  that garage was owned by some old collector who passed and his son sold off his bikes on ebay for shitloads.

i'm making a copy of that silver alazzurra.  just can't decide on the wheel color

So I'm guessing that photoshoping was all you needed? Didn't give me much feedback.
