How's everyone doing?

This sub-forum is not very active so I'll start...

Anyone still riding their Duc? The weather been hot and cold, but still perfect weather for riding right?

If you're not riding, what are you doing?  Put it away for the winter? or Modding projects?

I'm currently waiting for my Morimoto projector and Factory Pro jet kit.  Kinda regreted...shouldn't have taken my headlight apart before the projector came in, so I could ride for a few more days.  bang head

Anyways, just to see what's everyone working on...

Nice day people!  coffee

Usually get out one weekend a month with the local DOC's for a long ride.  Work requirements and penny pinching saving for a house mode cut out the second weekend runs, but normally ride to work a day or two a week when not on the money pinching saviing vanpool.

Winter. What's that?  Tourmaster heater liner and gloves says there's no such thing as this winter concept.

Has been wet and pretty cold in San Antonio and I am in need of new tires. I have the cash, just have to find the time to go get them and have them installed. I don't really want to ride in cold wet weather till then. I am thinking about the Michelin Pilot power 2 ct  or the pilot roads. I have been riding more slab than twisties lately and I need something that will last a little longer in the center.

Unfortunately the weekend weather in San Antonio has been wet and cold lately, but I've managed to get out for a couple of rides.

No modding going on with the current bike, as I'm  hoping to upgrade to a new Monster next year. If anything I might be taking goodies off the bike to sell seperately.

Sean came by this weekend and we were able to knock out de-podify the airbox pods; removal of emissions equipment; clean and install jet kit in his carbs (and tune/balance); and pod filter install. Only made him a bit late to his gf's graduation celebration  Tongue

funny revelation I found out this weekend too, the factory pro jet kit STILL has my original settings and my NAME on the examples page they send with each kit!  Very cool.  Dolph

I rode my 1997 Monster 750from my Louisiana home to Luckenbach in October for the Harvest Classic.   I showed up a few days early and rode the Holy Trinity roads with lunch at the Hill Country Motorcycle Museum.

After years of engine rebuilds, it was great to make a long trip on her.

Been riding my RC51 here lately.  Going to take my V-Strom for a ride from here to Natchez and back tomorrow.

I ride every chance I get.

I have a new career that takes me to Houston on a regular basis, but not on my bike.  I'm on the road during the week and now I only get to ride on weekends.

I used to have a "normal" job that I commuted to every day on my bikes.

Now, I only ride for fun.

I'm always up for a ride.

Great news about the tire. Are you going to get the 14T Sprocket?  I did on my 695 and I love it.  chug

Yeah I think I want to get 14T front...what set up do you run in the back? stock 41T or +1 or -1?  I can't decide.

I went with Stock and 14T. from 15T.  Combined with the termi, ECU and open airbox my gas mileage has gone down a bit. I am not sure if it is from the mods or from my riding more aggressive. Dolph

I went from 45+ to around 40 when I switched to the 14T
