ViziTech SupaNova tail lights available for a short time

Been looking for one of these for a while (didn't realize the price, though :'().
I know others have been looking for this unit and I just got an email from Bernard that they will have 25 in stock around mid-January. They're taking pre-orders now, though. Get'em while they're hot:

I don't know a thing about these.
Why so pricey?
Any one care to fill me in?

Great, thanks for sharing.
Think I'll stick with the cheaper one. This one is overkill!

I really love it and a friend had one but there was nowhere to put that controller. I'll just goose my throttle to avoid being hit from behind.

The TailBlazer works exceptionally well and is nowhere near as expensive.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

it uses your stock light. the bulb has the brain built in and it is a halogen so it's pretty bright, like 3-4x as bright as the original. no wiring nothing. just the brake though.

Good luck waiting. All other integrated tail lights out there only have 30 LEDs max (motodynamic for example is the 2nd best out there IMO and that only has ~30LEDs). This one has 350 LEDs JUST for the brake lights and another 140 for the turn signals. For what you get and the plug and play quality it can't be beat. Plus, you can't put a price tag on your safety.

it's overkill. my tailblazer is easily visible in bright daylight from more than 100 ft out. the flash is instantly noticeable.
yes, you can put a price tag on your safety. you don't need to be seen 2 miles away.

This talk about 'overkill' confuses me
I like the beta-tester's comment:
Bernard, you're completely crazy, but in a good way. You've surpassed what is necessary, gone all the way to what is desirable, passed that, crashed through obnoxiously good, and flung yourself at the OMFG wall of fame.

if it is too bright then its illegal. that's at least the high end of overkill.

the unit is defintely over kill in terms of brightness, its too bright when ur riding behind someone and all it does is distract you from whats really going on. but last i heard there were 3 or 4 settings for brightness... Chchudder had the version 1, and that shit was just straight up nonsense
