What can I remove from my M900?

I apologize if the question is redundant.  But here it goes.  I just completed my first carb rebuild (95 M900).  With so many parts already off, I figure that this is the best time determine what parts if any I can omit as I re-assemble.

So what can I remove or not use that will not hinder performance or safety?

If you take the wheels off, it's very safe but performance suffers.

As far as a serious answer, you don't really have much to remove. 

1.  Charcoal canister
2.  Side covers
3.  Crankcase vent system (I don't recommend this, but many people do it).
4.  Filter box and replace with pod filters.
5.  Shorai battery instead of the original type for weight (weighs about 1/10th original)

Tail chop will drop a couple lbs. The verdict is still out on the battery. While great weight loss, some have had melt downs and no one has answered about reliability. Passenger pegs. Lighter wheels are what every wants.
