Just got my Monster 696 in black.
I am getting back into riding bikes after 5 years or so...found this black 696 in used with Rizzoma mirrors, Pazzo levers, 3 set of Motovation(?) frame sliders and bar ends, tail chop... love this bike and cant wait to take it out for a ride (Colorado winter sucks). BTW looking forward to installing a deep tone exhaust [evil]

welcome to the board. as a former coloradan, and current mainer, i would take your winter over mine any day. of course, i lived up in Ft. Fun (Sun...) so my experience may have been a little different from yours.

anyway, there are a bunch of other colorado people around here, and i am sure they will make you welcome as well,

If you're going to be riding up by Fort Collins when it warms up let me know - that's where I am.

Hi Wolfboy,  I definitely will! I would love to try this bike in those mountain curves near Fort Colins.   [thumbsup]

Hello DucatiKabul! I live close to downtown and I just got my M796 two weeks ago. Let me know if you want to go riding!

@ Redditpole, Awesome! we got more Coloradans here, sure, as soon as this snow leaves us :D havent been able to take out my bike even once. How is the 796 behaving? I got my 696 used (with cool upgrades and a good price), only problems is a little bit of oil leak from the valve covers (common 696 problem, or Monsters in general i think), ordered new o'rings, so she should be fine.

Welcome!  Colorado is my favorite place to ride.  I think I have way more miles riding in your state than any other (excluding commuting miles anyway)  [clap]

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
