I'm really liking www.rider.com.

I've been with them for 3 years now and just did my 4th renewal for my 950SM-R.  The price drops every year (no claims and I'm 35 with a good driving record)

1st year was like $440 for full coverage (100/300/50 and 100/300 w/ $500 deductible)
2nd was $400
3rd was $240
and the latest was a blistering $142.00

If it goes down any more they'll have to start paying me to ride.

This caught my eye on the testimonial page Smiley -

they're not licensed in my state apparently. 

i pay $121/month for motorcycle insurance on my streetfighter, which is more than my mercedes.

or mine.   Something to consider is if you already have health insurance through your work you don't need medical insurance through the insurer.  You'd be surprised how expensive medical on a bike policy can be.  Caveat being to always wear proper gear or they may deny your claim if something happens....check your declarations page.  I pay $421 for three bikes through Progressive.

I pay $55 with geico for my 696 , I have few speeding tickets. I had them give me a quote on 796 and it went upto $180 Huh?

I used to have Rider.  i left them after they told me i would have to pay close to $700 per yr for my s2r 800 and ktm 450 exc (full coverage, no tix, no claims).  I switched to progressive and pay only $350 per yr (full coverage) for both.  waytogo

I live in North Jersey, so YMMV.

that is odd.  its costs me $120 per year for full coverage with a $500 deductible or $180 with a $100 deductible.   i chose the latter since it's still cheap. 

this is coverage on a 750, 30 yr old, no tickets, 1 claim, also in north jersey.  but from what i hear, the county you live in matters.  i lived in essex, morris, hudson, and bergen counties.  it went down when I moved from essex to morris, went back up when i moved to jersey city, and went down significantly when i moved to bergen county.  the city i lived in essex was significantly nicer (less crime) than the one in morris but due to newark being located in essex county, the premiums were higher.  that was the reasoning i was given by the insurance rep.

Damn, guys.   My S4 has been about $250/year for full coverage since I bought it about 3 years ago, with a ticket about every year and a half (I'm pretty consistent that way).   

But check this out, I just traded an old XR650 Supermoto that I had, for a Sportster for my wife (hey, it's what she wanted), and since it's not financed or anything, and will probably only get ridden about 50 miles a year, I'm liability only on that sucker, and it's in my name since I've had a motorcycle license for about 34 years.    It added $10 per year to my Ducati coverage.   Now check this out.   I just bought a 1970 Honda CT-70, that is street legal, and to put it on the same policy as the Ducati and Harley, adds $11 per year to my bill.   I guess the 70's 4 horsepower is higher than the 1100 Sportsters.

1 pay $10/month for everything but collision. This is with State Farm in Colorado on a M695.  I have home and car bundled with them, though.... FWIW.

No way, those CT-70s are cult bikes, everything has been repro'd or is still available.

$121 a year for two bikes and two riders... with full coverage on the Duc, from Progressive.
