Update -- I'm all set.

---

I'm getting relatively minor knee surgery in Fremont on Weds Jan 11.

I need to find someone to sign me out of the surgery -- literally just sign a piece of paper so they will release me.  I can give you a call when I'm out of surgery and hang out and wait for you.  Hoping someone near Fremont or near Bart might be able to help me out.

The place is half a block from the Bart station in Fremont, and I intend to take BART there.  I *might* need a little help walking the half-block to the Bart station from the surgery center, but should be able to fend for myself from there.

Much  bacon bacon and  drink drink for anyone who can help me out.

Thank you.

Yowzas, dude... knee surgery and BART?

I'll be in SF all day and on a bike.  Still don't have the truck back.  I think I'm the wrong person to try to help out for a number of reasons, but giving your thread a bump.  Good luck!!!

I might be able to assist depending on the time.  So at what time do you think you'll be finished?  Where's your final destination?  I might be headed that way.

Thanks, folks.  I am covered.  I have a friend who lives in Oakland and is retired -- he's free to help out all day.

Cheers,
Steve

Ernie I assume?  Cool.   waytogo  I would have done it for ya in a pinch, but it would have been a challenge.  Good luck!

Yep, Ernie.  Thx -- definitely easier to get the retired guy to help out.

Just saw this, glad you're all set.  Hope the surgery and return home are smooth sailing.
