if one of you fine dmf members could and wouldn't mind . . . i'd love to have a look at the bike with black wheels but i suffer from computer retardation and have no skills on photoshop.  if you're local, i'll buy you a beer at the rock store one of these days (LA) if not, i'll mail you a beer in a ziploc bag  waytogo

I used that to decide if I wanted to change fender color and whether to keep the headlight fairing on.

i did try the configurator but the background is so dark it's really kinda tough to tell how the black wheels would really look and, more specifically, on my bike as it's set up.  all good.  maybe i'll get lucky here  Dolph

I stick to the idea I suggested earlier of leaving the flat top surfaces white and the vertical inset portions of the spines in black for offset....

Apparently Ducati thought it was an attractive enough combo to use it with the 696 white tank bikes. Black wheels would look better than you people think on that moto. Red would be interesting. White wheels get dirty and look foo-foo IMO.

I was actually working on 'Shopping the wheels and was almost finished with versions of both red & black. Went to use the magic wand tool and the app crashed. All that woyk gone. Doh! 32-bit app on a 64-bit OS  bang head

I don't think Ducati makes white rims for the newer  monsters (696, 769 or 1100). I haven't seen them...
