Aprilia is pushing out the Tuono 1000 twins before the V-four Tuono arrives and 2011's are going for $7500 new. That is a lot of bike for very little money.

Wow! That's a killer deal. Where did you see the advertised price? I still see MSRP @ $12,999 on aprilia website.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Aprilia and the Tuono, I just dislike the light set up, it stick out to far from the headstock, similar to the Speed triple

So true, it's probably one of the reasons it never really sold well despite great reviews and press.

The older version is tolerable. The headlights on the new one are excruciating to look at

The person who reported the deal talked with Rider's Hill which is in GA. If you are serious give your closest dealer a call. The $12,999 MSRP is not realistic. You can find brand new 2008-11 Tuonos with full warranties for much less.
Aprilia is in the same position Moto Guzzi has been in. They have a lot of marked down left-overs still at the stores which makes it impossible to find a buyer for the new bike at the full MSRP when the left over bike is just as good and thousands less.

I agree. The V-twin models were tolerable if they didn't come with too many colors like this one,
but the new V-4 Tuono is tough to stomach.

I've ridden in front of and behind Tuonos. They are VERY good motorcycles. Anything south of 10K$ is cheap.

That's a deal, they are awesome riding bikes. Reasonably quick, handle well and astounding good tourers/long distance mounts.

Rider's Hill has quite a few in stock. Some are gently used, some are brand new. I kinda want one.
I'm pretty sure the RSVs are going for good prices too.
