I agree, it is a great spot for a beer and we'll meet up and down a couple when I can get away from all the weekend work I've had to do lately    waytogo

Rode with my bro a few hundred klicks! Darn great to be out on the bike with another Monster man!  waytogo

No rain today but it was quite cold. Found that a new pair of boots and gloves are in order.

I superglued the plastic bit inside the left-hand switchgear that is part of the indicator switch. It had decided to break at both mounts. Was able to coax it to give me left-hand indicators until yesterday; right-hand mostly worked. Seems to work ok now Smiley.

Bit of a tart to remove from the bike - the plug it attaches to the loom didn't want to come out without some rearranging of the clutch hose. Went back on fine.

Rode it!
Looked at it.  Shocked
Thought about cleaning it  Undecided
Talked about putting some more bits on it.  Wink
Then I went up stairs and continued working.  Tongue

motowheels where clearing old stock, so I got the rear for about 1168 including freight.
then after some shopping around I forund that Australia dosn't have an importer so BST sold me the front direct. about 1673 including freight and funds tranfer via bank.
so all up... $2841!  couldn't help myself!    Evil

Did another airbox mod that added a litre of capacity and improved the relationship of the velocity stacks to the air filter element.
Kind of just improving what was there by modifying and rearranging things.

CF wheels are pretty damn cool!  Grin

Haven't touched the bike in near on 2 weeks now.. But today I finally changed the oil+filter (went with k&n)..
Was very relieved to see that with 43,000 on the clock there was near-on no metal paste on the mag plug at all!

But I did forget to pull out the screen and give that a bath.. Anyone know if that is removable without dumping the oil again?

Yes, lay your bike waay over so the motor is horizontal, but do you really want to do that? Do it the right way
Just drop the oil into a clean container like you would do normally, pull the gauze, clean, reverse procedure and put oil back in.

Thanks for that! Will R/R oil and clean the screen this morning!
Raining today, was going to take it for a good ride up the Barrington tops but I don't think i'll be doing that in the wet

Last weeks project, my brother gave me an old stand he had, decided to clean it up a bit..

Still need to pull the dollies back off and paint the frames on them, will get to that shortly.

I made a thing!

Now I don't need relays.  Or fuses.  And I can run nice light gauge wiring for my headlight switch and ignition switch Smiley
