Those are very fancy wheels. You might want to wear gloves when you're cleaning them. They look like they might cut you otherwise.

Not sure if pushing the bike around constitutes for anything,
That is why I was showing the photos ... not showing me pushing it around. Photos must count for something - I took those.

Cleaning them? They've already been cleaned once ... not by me ... and they may never be cleaned again. Sounds dangerous.

Yeah ... several times actually. Is it no wonder the Boss is the one to 'sort shit out'? Maybe when she fixes my clutch she can turn her efforts to the edging ... but it's not a priority at the moment.

I was very lucky last year to get the 2V trophy ( the nice hologram one nicer than Rob's
)
I will be watching not entering next time
Mark what bike were those wheels from and did you get them just polished or another finish.

Competition is a bullshit excuse not to enter ... although it is not unheard of for people to sell their bikes to avoid being shown up. But I could never take things that seriously - I will not be a threat. But you will have your work cut out to beat a certain silver S2R ... now that is pretty!

Umm ... they are for an S2R 800 just like mine. Believe it or not these are not the polished version ... they are clear anodised.

Since we did the brakes I thought we should change the clutch fluid as well. What is wrong? I dunno ... but
we've
I've make the beast with two backsed it up somehow. Can't get the fluid to drain and there is nothing at the lever.

I went for a mad dash through the hills of the Mornington Peninsula, enjoying the unseasonably great weather. Shining sun, no clouds or wind and just a chill in the air easily negated by some thermals. This is the first real chance I've had to ride my bike since it came back from all the mods and boy is it different to the bike I handed them. The PC5 has changed the low rev handling, higher viscosity fluid in the forks (7 I think) had me concentrating more on the feel from the road and then there was the new pipes, those puppies are loud, they sound great but I am going to have to baffle them to preserve my hearing
.
I was chatting to some other riders on Arthurs Seat and they were warning me off any further riding down Flinders way due to a huge increase in the number of roo vs vehicle incidents recently. There have been two riders come off in the last two weeks, one a direct hit and another swerving to avoid, both walkaway jobs thankfully. A number of car hits, one being a write-off. The locals have taken to driving around everywhere at 60kmh because the situation is so bad. Its usually a problem after dark but the roos are so numerous and so hungry they are coming onto roads during the day to raid farms and pastures. If you're down this way please be careful.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR MONSTER TODAY ?
I rode it!
I'll admit it has been a while (and for a number of reasons). But thanks to Jukie's persistence the clutch is now useable and thanks to Andy ... a minor mis-alignment has been corrected.
Bike felt pretty good ... but boy it was a little chilly late in the day.

It's quite obvious MV that the medication is kicking in and you're coming around.
I'd say some Thursday night therapy is needed.
Round up the dirt bike boys for tea and scones and reaquaint yourself with the finer things in life. Quality people with a passion................. some examples below........
Well.......they do have some good points.............................somewhere
Or Mmmmmmick
We have weekend rides to enjoy as well.....Who said we don't like getting down and dirty .........
Weekends away
And just enjoying the countryside i guess.......
Some deep and meaningfull moments captured
And how about this for navigation......!
Now this was a rariety
A perfect example of helping one another when in need ( sorry again Mark)
Not forgetting your love of cows either...

Thanks Brain.
I am starting to see the reasons to hold on to the old girl.
Might even spend a bit of time on it over the winter.

On Friday I had a Time Sert put in for the M8 cam belt tensioner roller. It was chewing out bolts each time it needed the belts adjusted and wouldn't hold the torque.
All good now.

i brought home another bike the other day
the pergole was getting a little crowded and untidy
so i had to have a big cleanup and reorganise
gf came home didnt notice new bike but did say wow you had a cleanup
so folks owning multiple bikes has its advantages , another addition can go unnoticed

i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.
