Compared to the originals?  Definitely.  I still prefer the no passenger peg look, which I will do most the time.  These go on and off in minutes, just four bolts.

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

Well it wasn't today ... but it was this weekend: I rode it!

It had been a long time ... with bad weather, work, work, bad weather, work, work, bad weather, work and work getting in the way recently opportunities have been few and far between.

It just started off as a bit of a maintenance check by the Boss. I like these because it means starting the bikes and me riding them while she stays at home readying the next while I bring back a nice warm chain for her to clean and lube   bow down

The little Monsters were first ... and without a problem. The Stupidbike was a little more reluctant but started after a couple of tries ... but once again Trev was the temperamental one. Considering his namesake's current career option you wouldn't expect charging and electrical problems ... but perhaps it is just one of life's cruel ironies. Anyway we have a couple of options to pursue (he was probably just feeling a little neglected).

Luckily that was all done though as a mate (some of you may know him) dropped by mid-afternoon and we went for a short ride. Ended up stopping for pizza as night fell and a cool trip home in the dark.

Dodgy phone pic looking directly into fading light to prove it:

No secret handshake. It was a last minute call, only decided Saturday lunchtime for the ride.
