Bring your wet gear.
I know, I have a few options if I want/need to bail early. We'll see if the weather will stand up to the hype...
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

Take video :) Maybe I'll put on the dirt shoes and chase the Pepe trail this weekend.

While riding the back roads of NoVa, I found myself in what seemed to be the UK... (including eventually the rain :P)

My Morgan mechanic works out of a place just a stone's throw from there http://www.britishandclassics.com/test/index.asp and we had lunch there in February. The food is decent and it truly does resemble a genuine decent English country pub but I was seriously disappointed that they had not one single Real Ale. Seems they are all winos in that place.  :'( For the food I'd go back though. Really a pity as a good pint in that garden would be great in decent weather!

My more reasonable DS tires arrive mid week and I hope I can get them on Sat when I help my shop owner buddy with computer stuff... I'll (hopefully) get to avail myself of his no-mar changer.

So Pepe - what's available closer to ARL need to cut my teeth on the dirt again. If all goes off I'll be up in UP UP state NY for a bit this summer. No heavy offroad but plenty of country.

Looking over more off road oriented gear... After this weekend on the KTM in my street boots I've found that I like riding it with the Sumo/MX boots A LOT more. Can't hook into the bike the same way, had a harder time gripping the tank/chassis. They might look a little crazy on the roads, but man they make a difference on that bike

This is my NOVA dirt loop from a couple weeks ago. I based my route on the Loundoun Dirt Road Database Master. You'll have to head NW a bit, but it's definitely worth it! [Dolph]

I don't even think of riding dirt without the MX boots, they protect much better than riding boots and keep mud, water and $#it out! [laugh] BTW, what DS tires are you getting?
