G'Day All,

Shayne from Sydney, picked up my first Ducati a little over a month ago as a bit of a project( it needed a little TLC),
It's a 98' 900S, and it's finally on the road, just got back from my first squirt up the Old Road, and the loop around Wisemans Ferry and back.
Still waiting for a few more parts ...Bling!!..to arrive,
Hoping to add a few more bits as time goes.......it get very addictive.... Grin

Also putting feelers out, The better half has fallen for the Monster way, shes after a 620 if anyone knows where one is for sale.

Hope to catch up sometime

Cheers

Shayne

G'Day Shayne,

Did you have a look in our Oz Monsters Trading Post, I see johnopaul has a 620 for sale, would probably make a nice chrissy present, give him a bell.

insanity far outweighs horsepower

hey guys

Robin here, i finally got myself a real bike after thrashing 4 honda mini-dukes (vtr250) Grin ride a grey 2000 m750, was stock except for remus cans, i added a ventura rack for work (i dont drive Tongue), then decided it needed some modding so put it off the side of a hill.

now it's blinged with an invisible front fender, bent bars, a dint in the tank so you can park trees on it, some character on the cans, not to mention performance modding the mirrors for more streamlining, by removing one.

next project is to change the mods i dont like anymore Grin

i currently work as a forky/storeman, trying to save up for my helicopter licence. that was going to smoothly, so i decided to get my girlfriend pregnant, we're having a little boy in May [moto]

i'm down in SE Melbourne, if anyone uses Netrider or Black Spur forums you might know me. used to ride 1-2000km a week, now i'm barely down to commuting Cry hopefully there's some ducati kinda stuff going on down here, i'm keen to learn what i can.

see you in the twisties chug

i'll let you know if i need it, pretty sure a mate has a mirror for me, thanks a bunch though Smiley
got bars on order, probably buying a 2nd hand fender off ebay, eyeing a few off right now. bought a tank 2nd hand from US, will be trying to fix mine as a spare.

main problem atm is a gear shift lever peg, they generally get damaged on the way down, so cant find any 2nd hand on ebay or here, only one from germany brand new. dont really want a whole new rearset.

the bun in the oven has put a damper on my blinging desires, including the repairs Undecided

Hi All

Been lurking around here for a few months now & never got around to an intro so...

My name is Jo, live in SE Melb, have been riding just over 2 years, currently ride a 98 M600 Dark with a few mods; big bore kit (680cc), Remus cans, Corbin seat, Carbon fibre screen. Love it!

Heading to Tas for Turismo next month & I'm excited.

I count Nibor as one of my friends & riding buddies but don't hold that against me  Wink  Hi Nibs  Kiss

Welcome Nibor & Trinity.

Trinity (and I may have the models wrong) but shouldn't you be riding a 996/998 or at the very least a Matrix edition 620 Monster?
