Saw some pretty cool rides there today in the show and in the parking lot. It took me about 2 minutes to realize that that guy in the one picture was really Billy Joel. My most recent brush with fame in South Florida. The food was my lunch on my ride home. If you ever make  it to South FL you gotta hit Taqueria Dona Raquel for the tacos al pastor and caldo de res.  bow down

Thanks! Great pics of some really cool scooters. Liked the Honda Elsinore MXer in the background in one of the pictures of the #35 Norton single racer. Had a '73 250cc Elsie. Also had a Yammyhammer Daytona Special RD like the one you clicked on. Clubman cafe bars and all. Good old two stroke days! waytogo

And yes, the NCR One Shot is to die for! Dolph popcorn bow down

Yes they have Posole, but it is pork. I prefer beef, it's not awful though. I get that if the run out of the caldo de res. My mom loves Menudo, that I can not do.

I had to go back and look 2 or 3 times at that food! Damn that looks good. waytogo popcorn bacon You'd think I would keep looking at the scooter pics but I am really hungry and the wifely unit has gone back to bed not feeling well. So I am vicariously enjoying your meal wishing I had that in front of me right now!

I can't do menudo either... the boy band nor the food. Tongue

If I am not mistaken, Chris the owner of Motocorse and the aforementioned bike porn, said that rig weighs somewhere in the mid 200lb range (i wanna say 250lbs) and has 120-140's HP at the rear wheel (with a gun to my head i would go with 147hp). I don't remember the exact data but i am fairly close. That was the coolest bike there other than my CB1KR  Dolph

I wish I could have made it. DOCSF, Motocorse and Forza always have a big presence there. You get to watch some awesome bike porn and spend some time with some really great and knowledgeable people.

That thing is featured in an episode(s) of Cafe Racers. Not sure if it has aired yet. I believe Ben Bostrom road it around and pretty much loved it.
