Hi all,
Just contemplating putting some Leo Vince Exhausts on My 796, and wondered if anyone has put some LV's or alternates on that do not have a Heat Protector like the stock or Termi, and what heat comes off them for the passenger.

Im told by the stockist that as the LV's have not Cat Convertor, the heat on the silencer will be minimal so the passenger wont feel any difference.
Can anyone help as I dont want to put the silencers on if I cant carry the missus, though some might think thats a bonus.  Grin

I purchased a set of LV CF pipes for my 09 1100 from BellisiMoto.com and they do not come with heat shields.  I think they would be fine for two-up riding but she would have to be aware that the bottom part of the exhaust canister is metal where it connects with the exhaust pipe.  In regards to BellisiMoto.com, they very easy to deal with and helpful as well........highly recommended.
