How to shorten front trurn signals?
«

So I can't find a thread that shows a how-to
How are you all shortening the turn signals? Do you have to take the headlight apart to reach the bolt? Is there a write up out there? Any help is very much appreciated.

yup headlight has to come out, and those bolts holding them in need to be replaced with shorter ones when you pull the spacer out

This should take no more than 30 minutes to do. As noted, you will need to replace the mounting bolts which I think are 6mm allen head.

I just took my old ones to the local hardware store and got the correct size I needed. It cost less than a buck for the new ones.

you sure it was 25? i just picked up a 20mm long bolt, and its way too long, i think it needs to be a 15mm long bolt
