"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

That seat looks comfy and I like what I can see of the swingarm

The Busa built for Sturgis?

It's far from the most tragic, and perhaps it doesn't deserve to make the cut, considering those last two fine examples.
But...
What is the obsession with the ridiculously long swingarm? And 9/10ths of the custom 'Busas seem to nix a front disc. As though they're offended by the very idea of turning, or stopping.

I don't even know what to make of the "Sturgis 'Busa."
Does the hump separating the two people have any function? Can you store stuff in that, maybe?

Extended swingarms come from the Drag Racing world.

I understand its purpose in the context of drag racing.
But putting a huge swingarm on a road bike seems a bit like putting a gigantic spoiler on your commuter car.

It's the owners choice.

From that pic, it looks like her boobs will have no problem reachin' his back no matter how much that swingarm gets extended.

I wasn't proposing we outlaw these practices, I was just voicing an aesthetic judgment about them.

No worries, they don't like your bike either.
