Hi Guys!

I bought my S4RS monster whem i was in the USA.
now that i'm back in Portugal, in order to get the bike legal i have to have her silenced
took good care of the exhaust and it will not be a problem
by the other side, the open air box noise is WAY out of limits and i don't have the missing cover part.
any idea how to solve this?
what can i do to make it silent for the inspection? i dont mind loosing performance or power. i just want it silent as much as possible!

thanks, Rodrigo

Are you sure it's possible to make it legal at all?

Ducati won't issue COC (certificate of conformity) for US bikes and I think it's required all over Europe....

At least check that before you spend money on it.

I have bought used ones on ebay, I think the s2r lids are the same part.

thank you all for the reply.
i'll try poliuretane foam with duck tape to see if i can notice any noise reduction.
if not, i'll go on the used one. thanks for the s2r tip!
