Yeah... speaking up against corporate abuse of salaried workers is a recipe for getting canned.   bang head

Oh well, there's a couple much cooler looking jobs I've stumbled upon since the search began this week.

seems these days anything is an excuse for getting canned. I think everyone is on edge.

Ironically, not on edge as an unemployed slacker/house pregnant dog...

And tonight is my first audit for TeamOR to become an instructor... totally stoked!  Smiley

Good luck everyone, though!!  I know where you're coming from (was middle mgmt that made his 'superior' look like he did stuff besides eat off of peoples plates and watch football for hours)...

Take care all!

Well, finished auditing my first class to become a TeamOR Instructor!  I really enjoyed it and everyone was very cool and helpful.  It was interesting comparing and contrasting the MSF course from WA to the TeamOR course, and I have to say, the WA course is more difficult for the riding part, but I really liked how TeamOR put it all together at the end!

Here are some differences:

• WA shows more videos
• WA requires you to do Figure 8's and riding over an obstacle (2x4)
• WA requires you to Swerve THEN Stop, OR is just Swerve
• OR does 2 exercises AFTER the test the simulate real traffic conditions (motorcycles only obviously) and I REALLY liked that.  It kinda brings it all together!

Otherwise, the classes are pretty close.  Also noticed that TeamOR closely follows the book Proficient Motorcycling, which is a great resource for all riders...

Next class is in 2 weeks, then I take a skills test, then finally the interview....  wish me luck!!

Ride safe everyone!!

Not bored... busy.  Digging through engineering positions and editing my resume for each.

Glad I went engineering... there's still a variety of stuff out there.  I feel for the folks who are searching and coming up empty-handed.  Undecided
