nah, Im looking at 08+ CBR600RR and 08+ R6's.

You going to race it or just keep it clean for instructor days... IE ... keep the side stand on...  don't go and get all inline four on us.

By the way... this board is so boring these days.... WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!

I plan to mostly use it for instructing, but who knows where that will lead.  Smiley

Yes, I need a kickstand.

I'm keeping the 749, so you guys cant get rid of me yet.

We don't kick people out when they  no longer have a Duc... we just buy them a beer... and say, "I am so sorry for your loss."    laughingdp

Yes Hater!

I am picking up a 2008 CBR600RR tomorrow with 700 miles on it.  It was formerly Micheal Czysz's bike.  I need a kick stand to stop and help yahoo's that crash on the track.  I can't use my Mille for that (no kickstand), and Im done tracking the 749.

Besides, I've wanted an I4 for some time.  Smiley

There are all kinds of things you can lean a bike against at PIR.
Or you could spend like $14.95 on a kick stand.

-OR- you could buy another track motorcycle, which you need as badly as a hole in your head.

I think he uses that hole in his head to breathe out of. Not sure though. Seems to talk out of his ass a lot... could be breathing out of there too.  laughingdp

Ryan, spend the money on a good, light, comfortable helmet.  What's the point of spending thousands on a new bike if you can't ride in comfort?  Uncomfortable helmets can ruin a ride and make new riders dislike the sport.  It doesn't have to be expensive but it does have to be comforatable and quiet.  Noise fatigues, discomfort fatigues.

The white HJC is the bane of new riders.  Looks good and is cheap, also the first thing they all switch out.  Sell that one on Craig's List and get something that works better.

Oh, I agree... just trying to find one that meets that for her... since she doesn't ride as much... that $$$$ helmet may not be as worth it.

I love my Scorpion.  Not expensive, feels 1/2 the weight of my HJC, a lot less noisy, AND when Motorcyclist did their helmet reviews it was in the top 3 for crash results against both the DOT and SNELL standards.
