Inane ramblings:
1.) TurboTax sucks.
2.) Scotch - Because one doesn't solve the world's problems over white wine.

I got my new Oberon clutch slave today.
Probably gonna attempt install tomorrow... after I take care of TurboTax's royal screwup.
If I have to file an amended return because of their buggy software, they're refunding my $20 for the state e-filing. Somewhere in the final transmission step, it doubled the income listed on my W2, and I went from having a refund to "owing" the Fed and state a combined $20,000+.
Next software weenie within my earshot who bizatches about the oversight of Software Quality Engineering is gonna get walloped. There's a damn good reason for all those effing rules about how you're supposed to write requirements, review 'em, implement 'em, and exhaustively test 'em. If you don't, your POS software makes $20,000 dollar (and larger) mistakes. I'm ready to hunt me down some rule-dodging software weenies and the execs who approved the shoddy workmanship. I cannot begin to describe how much I hate shortcuts in product quality.
Not helping matters any: traffic sucked balls. Not necessarily heavy, just a LOT of people doing REALLY stupid things today.
Also got a fix-it ticket for my car's license plates.
Company I ordered my car's exhaust from called and told me their website's price was inaccurate... it was gonna be $45 more. I told them to cancel it, because their price was now higher than the competition.
Still haven't heard from ca-cycleworks about my Duc's timing belts. I have no idea if/when those will be en-route.
Put out an ad for a later-model Supersport swingarm (nicer design)... got one response this weekend... now the guy won't e-mail me back. Didn't give me a phone number. E-mailed again last night... still haven't heard from him. If any of you knows of someone with a spare 2002 or later aluminum Supersport swingarm, I'd like to find one. The square-section one on mine is driving me nuts. Wish I'd known about Elias' sooner last year... I'd have bought the one off his SS when it was parted out.
<sarcasm> Anyway, today has just gone brilliantly. </sarcasm>
See point #2.
