Went on a good ride today with a diavel, 796 monster, my m1100 evo, a aprilia tuono, kawasaki concours, a bmw k1200, and the obligitory harley rider , albeit with a 126 ci stroker.
From ferntree gully to noojee pub, neerim, and return, with a good lunch at the noojee toolshed.

Sure made a mess of the speed restrictions, and managed to halve my chicken strips.
Gotta love the meaty midrange of the monster!

Have 3000 klms on my evo now, is a barrel of monkeys on country roads.

And yes, the harley broke down, only a starter solenoid though. Easily fixed.

The monster is more my taste, the diavel is impressive, but perhaps not for me.  The tuono sounded and performed great.

Plenty of time at the $2 shop today, and some great fun playing chasey thru the twisties.

sounds like we need to get another Melbourne group ride going before the weather gets too ugly.

Post up on the Vic ride thread and we'll see if we can all get together.
