thanks guys.
short story- slipped on ice during a ski trip. (true)

DMF story- slipped on the sheet of ice the condo patio had become after 8 of us piled into a 4 person hot tub causing a substantial quantity of water to slosh out turning the patio into a skating rink. There may have been some drinking and shenanigans. The booze didnt make me slip on the ice..that would have happened anyway....but it did make me think it would be a good idea to jump into the snow in the backyard and then come running back to the tub.

distal fibula fracture, spent 2 weeks in a cast and crutches...went back for the checkup and the bone was further separated...in for surgery and two screws. (steel not ti since i know somebody will ask. small parts are almost always steel. plus my bicycle buds assure me that steel is real)
 now 6 weeks non-weight bearing.
i got one of those little knee scooters for the shop. that helps get around.
i was out for two days, so i was doing catchup on phone-emails

-jeff h

/sac- im pretty sure it was sac's sac and little stew she saw that nite. im pretty sure both those experiences will last a lifetime and do not need to be repeated
