It is... green.

And it has a heat shield around the gauges, lest you burn yourself... on the gauges.

(And here's A&R's take:  http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/ducati-monster-diesel/ )

I really think I want one!  I wasn't excited about the new Monsters, but I could see this one in the garage.

I like the shields on the cans...but to say the least, I am disapointed because I was hoping this was a bike that used Diesel fuel....was thinking that Ducati was making the leap from making a bike of performance to making one of super fuel economy since the Bulldog KLR project went nowhere...

+1. I'd have been much more impressed at that

I like it, but is it worth $1,800 more than the standard EVO? Maybe.

The green looks a lot different with some light on it.

The seat is awesome.

I agree - Diesel powered would have been even cooler

i like the look, but those plates over the air intakes have gotta mess up the breathing a bit... and once you get slip ons then you lose some of the styling you paid for.

The grills? Those aren't intakes. They are a feature to prevent the Ducati ding. You'll notice that at full steering lock the switch sets just *happen* to line up with those grills.

Don't forget the lid!

I'd have been much more impressed with a Diesel motor than a fashion bike. Oh well.

I just figured that upon seeing the name it cemented the idea of Audi buying Ducati as they had a TDI Monster coming out.
Was a bit disappointed to see it's an appearance thing.
