oh yes we can... ground clearance is a crutch also, wheelies cure many ills over logs and big rocks. although restraint is the better part of valor. I had wanted to take you over to Moab and plonk around over there, would have been a ride like Lake city though, long......there is really just so much to see and I'm just now beginning to see it...
As for you, old man...  my tires are better suited to the random sand scatterings on the pavement you get up there than any true Moab trip.  They don't act too crazy on the tar strips either.

Return average 58 (including gas and food stops)

So, scary noise that developed at DiTR turned out to be loose belts.  Every other set seems to do that, especially when I do long trips.  Cinched them back up and everything is peachy-keen.

Duck-Stew mentioned the possibility of the rivets in my clutch coming loose, but that did not appear to be the case either as the basket remains fast to the primary gear.

Onward with mods... Rattlecanned the pantah belt covers BBQ black to see how I like it (prior to committing to powdercoat).

And then I had to clean the garage because all my tools had gone AWOL.

Really?  What did I say?

I do like that look, and I don't know anything about all those quiet bikes... I like a riot on wheels! Evil

Really?  What did I say?

I forget the exact verbiage, but as I was getting ready to fire up my bike and leave the parking lot you said something like "Oh, yeah. That's what I've been waiting for."

In a parking lot full of amazing bikes? That was a pretty serious compliment.  waytogo

interesting tip on the exhaust....

Even more interesting is the lifetime of the end cap... which holds the whole shebang together.  I would rate it at 15 miles if you don't have enough discs in there.

no chop!  I am a fickle modder (at least in my heart) and I want to be able to change my mind.... Grin

Plus, if I decide I don't have enough storage in the Wolfmans, I want the option to attach something to the rear.

+ if he chops the tail...the rooster tail of dirt he'd get on his back when actually riding this machine in the dirt would be even greater by alot!
