Hmmm. previously crashed bike for about half price.

I wonder about the truth of the claim it was in the movies. If it was a US bike it couldn't be registered here.

Maybe he means the model of the bike was in those movies, not the actual bike. Agreed that a US bike would have a hard time being roadworthy here without a lot of bother, not to mention in the importation duty.

considering that the bike has a NSW numberplate on the back... safe to assume it's not requiring a right hand drive conversion?

my favourite line is that in the description is it has "no reserve" ... "will be sold to highest bidder" (so long as it's more that $45k)

Why bother with that?

The new one was launched this month. How about I buy you and I one? Anyone else keen, may get a discount if I buy more than two. Might get a few keyrings thrown in or somethin. Cheesy

Not mentioning any names, but i saw a desmo being repaired after being binned, the person in question found that the genuine carbon was too much, so it was all sourced from China.......i'm not saying that it is this bike though.....but it was in NSW....

There was one in Ducati Brisbane (QLD) being repaired about 2 yrs ago. It looked like it was a small crash.

I saw that bike today, it was fully repaired, resprayed, registered and looked pretty damn hot. He said he's keeping it for the time being and I can't say I blame him. So it is the other one of the two which is for sale.
