Harsh, but Guintolli could've saved it like Haslam did.

Maybe, but his front folded on him right before he got to the curb and back onto the racetrack.  I'm not sure you can fault him.  He was a little deeper into the s**t than Haslam was due to being pushed out further.

Absolutely love how Checa played the Italian crowd in Race 2 passing in the Ducati section for the lead....genuine celebration.....really nice to see him get into it.  I loved watching Bayliss dominate, but Checa's style is sooo smooth he is inspiring to watch  Dolph

That would be awesome to win back to back like that in front of Preziosi and del Torchio

Finally got to watch race 2 last night. A very impressive show by CC in front of the "home" crowd. waytogo I loved seeing Sykes and the Kawi doing so well. Just such a great mix of riders and bike brands in WSBK. You've got to love it! Just wish the mess that MotoGP is had half as much flavor and entertainment. popcorn Roll Eyes

i agree it was a shit situation for him....just from memory it looked like the back came around just before he got back on the curb then high sided.  Don't know why I was pulling for Guintolli, but he has been on Ducs for awhile and it was cool to see him qualify/running well and talking about fighting for the lead.  Bam....there goes all your good feelings.  He had to run on before the chicane in race 2 as well, which cost him a good finish.  I hope he can shake it off for the next round.

My best to Lascorz. Been on that operating table too. Got four fused neck vertebrae to prove it. My thoughts and prayers go out to him. Lucky to still ride and type this post.

Triple J,

I always love reading your Frank Z avatar quote! laughingdp I loved FZ. Two of the best conserts I ever saw were his. I recently failed by not following my friend's advise and joining him for Dweezil's "Zappa plays Zappa" gig here in town. He said it was awesome and I f'ed up and missed it. Bad on me. Zomby Woof dude! waytogo laughingdp

Back to WSBK and yes, best wishes to Lascorz. applause bacon
