I love listening to him try to be all philosophical and learned about his "mistake"

Pedrosa stated that he had "taken some bad advice and made it even worse."

"You can either ignore or learn from mistakes," Pedrosa's statement read, "and I have learned from this one not to get caught.  I would like to publicly apologize to my followers and all those who have shown faith in me."  Pedrosa's statement went on to say that he hoped that eveyone would forget about this as soon as possibleand focus entirely on the first race of the season at Qatar. He repeated that he had learned his lesson from the situation, and now he wanted his sponsors to only look forward to the future, and keep him after the upcoming season.

A spokesperson for HRC described the issue as "a make the beast with two backsin' stupid-ass thing to do" and reiterated that everybody makes mistakes, but that Pedrosa is a special kind of dipshit. Pedrosa will fly from his home in Switzerland to Qatar, to participate in the first race of the season at Qatar, which takes place on Sunday, April 8th, after which the GP season will hopefully be smooth sailing.

Man, I lived through a "3 hour" boat tour with a drunken captain sailing to Bimini. I wonder if he got his captain's license in the same way as Pedrosa.

I'm thinking that there will be lots of those hats at Laguna.

Maybe even some presented to him for autographs.  laughingdp

Sorry.  It's altered from the original in an attempt at humor--fair use n' all--so I didn't think there was a copyright problem and didn't link.   But here's the original article from motomatters that gm2 posted:  http://motomatters.com/news/2012/04/02/dani_pedrosa_issues_public_apology_after.html
